Twitter users frequently see airline twitter handles when something great happens or when an airline really messes up. Whether being used as a channel to connect with customers or merely as a way to push flight sale updates - Twitter is becoming an important tool for airlines.
According to Tnooz‘s reports: “TAM in Brazil is the newly crowned most prolific airline on Twitter but is not the most engaging, according to to data from Eezeer for April 2011.”Delta is a close second in ‘Talking Champions’ and holds down first in ‘Listening’ champs. Sounds like they agree with the old saying ‘You have two ears, one mouth for a reason.”
